IGEM House has opened its doors to the public, inviting them to come and see the facilities its conference centre has to offer. The first open day was held on 10 August and was the first in a series of three open days planned throughout August. The centre decided to open its doors after previous visitors commented that seeing the centre first-hand left them in no doubt that IGEM House would be their venue of choice for events.
IGEM House has three contemporary conference rooms, a traditional Boardroom and two smaller meeting rooms which are all available for hire. All rooms are newly refurbished, offering natural daylight and modern facilities. With a variety of breakout areas, including the Sir Denis Rooke Library which contains information on the gas industry, staff at IGEM House can tailor every event to your requirements.
Based in the Derbyshire village of Kegworth, IGEM House is centrally located for easy access from the motorway network, East Midlands Airport and East Midlands Parkway train station. This makes it accessible for 80% of UK businesses, who can reach this modern venue in less than two hours.
What sets this venue apart from its competitors is its contemporary, fresh feel and the first-class service provided by IGEM House staff. It is their attention to detail and willingness to exceed clients’ expectations that keeps clients coming back time-after-time. This was a big part of what visitors experienced at the open day as staff were on hand to give guided tours of the facilities, answering any questions along the way.
The centre’s flexibility is proven by its ability to host events for clients from many different industries, whether this is a meeting for two people or a conference for 160 delegates. Julie Adcock, Conference Host at IGEM House, said: “Today’s open day will undoubtedly encourage more companies to join our rapidly growing portfolio of clients”.
Sales Manager Steve Springthorpe also commented that: “The open days are an ideal opportunity for visitors to experience first-hand why IGEM House is regarded by its clients as the premier venue of choice to hold events”.
IGEM House is hosting two more open days on Tuesday 17 and Thursday 26 August and invites you to come and experience what they have to offer. You can be assured of a warm welcome and a relaxed tour of one of the East Midland’s newest and most exciting venues.
To register for an open day or for more information call Steve Springthorpe on 01509 678160.
